The men of ACC meet to encourage one another toward a deeper walk with Christ. It's a new month, so we have a new set of questions to consider.
Sunday, 2/15 @ 9am - 9:45am: Classroom
These adult classes explore a specific passage in the Bible or a biblical theme. This Sunday, John Heise will continue a study through the book of Romans (chapter 11).
Sunday, 2/15 @ 10am - 11:15am: Worship Service
This service will be live-streamed: www.youtube.com (ACC channel).
As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob... - Psalm 75:9
Because of the gospel, we will gather to sing the praises of the God who so loved us, even when we were His enemies. For the sermon, we'll consider Hebrews 2:5-18, which teaches not only what Jesus did to rescue us, but how he did it as one of us. Jesus is God, and He is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters.
But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. - Hebrews 2:9
Sunday, 2/15 @ 1:30pm - 2:30pm: Serving at the Cedars Retirement Home (14409 Sunrise Ct, Leo, IN 46765)
On the 3rd Sunday of each month, ACC will send volunteers to lead a brief, Christ-centered service for residents who are often overlooked and yet desperately need to hear the good news again in their final chapter of life. If you would like to encourage the residents, as well as those from ACC serving this month, please go! (Thank you to the Kramer, Reynolds, and Stiver families for signing up for this month.)
Tuesday, 2/17 @ 11am - 12pm: Prayer Meeting
We'll pray using the ACTS method (Adoration of God, Confessing our sins, Thanksgiving to God, Supplications to God). Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
