The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets. From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages. - Psalm 50:1-3
NOTE: As of today, Rebecca Estell is only 81% funded for her call to serve in Spain for a year. The monthly pledge giving deadline is quickly approaching (July 20). Here are our upcoming gatherings...
Thursday, 7/17 @ 10am - 11:15am or 7pm - 8:15pm: Alliance Women - Summer Study
The ladies’ summer meeting schedule runs from June 26 to July 24, with two meeting options each Thursday. Come hear about amazing overseas projects, learn about what the Alliance is doing, and join in prayer that many will be reached for Christ.
Thursday, 7/17 @ 10am - 11:15am or 7pm - 8:15pm: Ugly Mugs Men's Group
The men of ACC meet to encourage one another toward a deeper walk with Christ. Isolation is not good for the soul, so put down your to-do list and come hang out with the ugly mug guys for an hour.
Sunday, 7/20 @ 9am - 9:45am: Classroom
These adult classes explore a specific passage in the Bible or a biblical theme. This Sunday, Joel Cagwin (currently serving with the C&MA in Germany) will share about Third Culture Kids (the fancy term for missionary kids).
NOTE: A class for children (ages 4-10) is also available during this time.
Sunday, 7/20 @ 10am - 11:15am: Worship Service
This service will be live-streamed: www.youtube.com (ACC channel).
“Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” - Psalm 50:14-15
We'll gather to honor the Lord for the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, His promises kept, and His deliverance. We'll hear an update from ACC's adopted missionary kid, Ian Cagwin, as he recently graduated from high school and is planning to begin college in the fall. Then we'll give the young adults who attended the LIFE conference an opportunity to testify to what the Lord is doing in their lives. Finally, Joel Cagwin will share his perspective on how the Lord is at work in the next generation through his work at the Black Forest Academy in Germany.
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. - Psalm 145:3-4
NOTE: Immediately following the service, we'll have a graduation party for Ian Cagwin in the fellowship hall. To the delight of those eager to spoil their lunch, cake and ice cream will be served! Please plan to stick around and celebrate with us.
Tuesday, 7/22 @ 11am - 12pm: Prayer Meeting
We'll pray using the ACTS method (Adoration of God, Confessing our sins, Thanksgiving to God, Supplications to God). Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
In Christ,
Pastor Lance
