Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony. My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long? Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. - Psalm 6:2-4
Here are our upcoming gatherings...
Thursday, 7/25 @ 11am - 12pm or 7pm - 8pm: Revelation Bible Study (for everyone)
Bring your Bible for week 2 of this 8-week study of the Book of Revelation. You're encouraged to read chapters 5-7 in preparation for this session. No other materials will be needed. Tom Rozema will be teaching.
Sunday, 7/28 @ 9am - 9:45am: Classroom
These adult classes will usually explore a specific passage in the Bible or a biblical theme. This Sunday the Martinez family will lead a discussion about Mark 4:26-29 and how it relates to their work with the C&MA.
Sunday, 7/28 @ 10am - 11:15am: Worship Service
This service will be live-streamed: www.youtube.com (ACC channel).
Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer. - Psalm 6:8-9
As God's holy people, we'll gather to cry out to Him, being confident that He accepts and hears us. You'll have an opportunity to publicly recite from memory a scripture verse or two that has been written on your heart for the month of July. For the message, the Martinez family will give an update on the journey to which the Lord has called them.
NOTE: A love offering for the Martinez family will be collected over the next few weeks. Please mark your giving envelope as "love offering."
He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” - Mark 4:26-29
Monday, 7/29 @ 10am - 11:30am: Ladies coffee with Renee
The ladies will meet at the church for coffee and fellowship with Renee. Please come to encourage one another.
Monday, 7/29 @ 6pm - 8pm: Pizza & Shoebox Project with the Martinez family
Everyone is invited to eat pizza and then participate in a time of "filling water bottles with Shoebox supplies," along with additional time to connect with the Martinez family.
Tuesday, 7/30 @ 11am - 12pm: Prayer Meeting
We'll pray using the ACTS method (Adoration of God, Confessing our sins, Thanksgiving to God, Supplications to God). Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
