Alliance Community Church was birthed as a daughter church of the Gospel Temple, formerly located on the south side of Fort Wayne. At that time, there were a number of families attending who lived on the northeast side of the city.
When the Gospel Temple was nearing the end of their ministry, these families set out to establish a church plant in their area. Early meeting places included Willie’s Pizza, a bowling alley, a daycare, a rented building off of Wheelock and Stellhorn roads, and St. Joe Central Elementary School. In the daycare on Easter of 1987, Alliance Community Church held its first official service. It was one of the "Easter 100" churches planted by the C&MA that year. Then, in 1993, we moved into our current building.
God has been gracious in giving godly pastors and their wives to lead the church through multiple transitions. The effects of their obedience and ministries continue to this day.

ACC is part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. A. B. Simpson (pictured to the left) founded The Alliance in 1887 as a deeper life, missionary movement. Watch this 5-minute video to learn how Simpson's passion for taking the whole Bible to the whole world became the vision for The Alliance.
